Password manager such as 1Password or Bitwarden. I have a long username and an even longer, randomly generated password that I've never even seen. If you haven't looked into it, I suggest creating an account on Bitwarden, and downloading the apps. You can have a separate, randomly generated password for each service and you'll only need to remember the password for Bitwarden.
Some of my most fond memories are being created right now. Edit: Thanks for the love! Straight, comfortable male here. 28 years young and married. Showed my wife and she agreed with me.

Motor finally seized up in Texas and I ended up selling her for 2800.00 and flew back to Alaska. So many favorite memories in that journey, I pulled over in rural New Mexico and watched white lightning in the sky at sunset while lying in the back my truck. My hair was standing up from the electricity in the air, its something I never experienced being an Alaskan boy. Camping in Zion Park was amazing. I stayed in Spokane Washington for a bit and met some great people there, camping in Colorado was amazing as well. It was a great experience meeting other people and just getting my head clear. I made it a point to not get to attached to any one place or person and focused on just enjoying being alone. It changed my life
>focused on just enjoying being alone. It changed my life I spent two months traveling Europe... and the US from east to west coast and back... but both times was with friends the thing I did that was similar to you - and that changed my life - was to spend two years in my own apt - by myself - dated but no steady gf - worked hard - but most of all learned how to be by myself and not need anyone else for any of my needs, emotional or otherwise ... literally changed my life and gave me the confidence that I could stand on my own two feet and meet whatever came my way
I’ve been living alone in my own apartment for a year now… Dated some but nothing serious. It’s still kind of a struggle to be on my own sometimes. Any tips you can pass down, for being zen?
Yes. The tip I have is: the struggle itself is the secret. The very fact that it is a struggle that you survive - and defeat … not by beating it necessarily, but by existing through it … that at the end, becomes so exhilarating. Because there will be an end (most likely), and you will move on to a different form (a relationship). But it is knowing that you did live alone - and survived and came out the other side - that gives you the strength and independence to know that you could do it again if circumstances turn you to that decision. Not necessarily because you prefer it, but because you have already survived it, and thus it’s always a viable option. On top of that, it taught me how to be alone and enjoy solitude, something I cherish to this day.
Thanks man. Sounds like I might be on the right path after all. Appreciate your wisdom.
谢了哥们。听起来我似乎真的走在正确的轨道上。感谢你的指点。
TheHeckWithItAll158 赞2021/8/3
You will do great because, at the end of the day, it is yours... all yours... however you do it, it will be YOUR WAY and you will own it ... and that is why it is so precious. Enjoy your boredom. Enjoy your fears. Enjoy your frustrations. Because, you will end up getting through all of them - and will come out the other side knowing YOU better than you ever did before. And you will be forever happy that you had this opportunity because of what it will do for you - getting to know who YOU are ... and for no other reason than to help you become yourself. Your own artist sculpting whomever you turn out to be. And I don't mean to suggest there has to be some magical plan. The only plan is to get through another day. How you manage to do that is all the sculpting I am talking about. Best of luck to you!
I also live in New Mexico now. Go to Alaska during the summer, and make sure you do some hiking. I've been to a lot of places in my life so far (in the US and outside of it), and Alaska is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. If the winter's weren't so brutal, I'd move there instantly.

Fuck that. Getting older is great. I've enjoyed every decade so far, although I am only in my ~~third~~ FOURTH decade. Yeah it hurts, but so many other things are better. Edit: Frantic explained, politely, that I am in fact an idiot.

May I ask, after what I have to imagine was a great deal of reflection on the open road, what you did in the ensuing 30 years, life wise? Taking such a pause before the meat of life must have been revelatory. One senses you might come away with some deep thoughts and big plans.
This! When I left on this trip I had come from a pretty dark place in my life, I felt like I was on a journey to nowhere. I was surrounded by toxic people, spending my time partying when I wasn’t working. Lots of superficial people that were predators now that I look back on it all. I spent most of my time on the road alone, I didn’t really hook up with many girls on the road, contrary to what people say here ( i find it funny though). I read a lot and started reading eastern philosophy material and books like the road less traveled. I started to listen more to nature and others. When I came back to Alaska I enrolled in college and studied philosophy and English. I met up with a girl I had known prior to leaving on this trip who was a body builder and was into the gym crowd I was in before. She had given me her number before I left and I kept it with me for whatever reason, when I came back to Alaska I found out where she was working and walked in with flowers and asked her for a date. She didn’t know I was back in town and I was lucky that she accepted, 2 years later we eloped to Hawaii and got married, we still are happily married to this day with two wonderful sons who are grown up now. One just finished his nursing degree last week and the other is an artist and free spirited soul. None of this would of been possible without that journey, I never would of grown up to be selfless enough to be a good husband or father if I had continued my life prior to the trip. I’m 55 now and still go to the gym and eat healthy, my wife and sons do the same. I just worked out with my oldest son Friday at the gym, he’s 27. My wife and I own a business together and are fortunate enough to spend so much time together both working and playing. We’ve traveled the world together from Ireland, Thailand and the Yucatán and all points between. Ive always loved traveling and can never give it up. I always tell younger people to travel as much as they can and that it is the best education life can offer.
That’s quite the journey you’ve had! Hope you get to see more of the world soon.
你这一路走来真不容易啊!希望你很快能去看看这世界更多的地方。

I had worked on drilling rigs for years prior and had some money saved. I worked construction in Spokane for a while, worked as a fitness trainer in Dallas etc. It’s not hard to make enough to live decent when all you have is yourself and an old truck.
"Drilling Rigs" "experienced pipe layer" "fitness trainer" as in fittin dat dik. Child support payments must be horrendous according to your resume, huh.
I drove from Texas to Alaska and back. Over 13,000 miles round trip. Took almost 2 months and I was so ready to be off the road after. Couldn't imagine 2 years of it. edit: how are the rest of the Von Eric brothers doing?
That’s hilarious. I actually had an offer to join the WCW back in the day, my room mate actually did and became the repo-man. This was just prior to me leaving AK.
I highly recommend it. Ive done it twice in my life, once on a motorcycle and once with my old truck

I dunno how long you been on reddit or know what it is, but you need to do an AMA stat As in you went back to AK on bike, or from AK to tx again but on a bike, or just 2 other different far away spots in the country?
I drove from tacoma Washington to LA on my bike and lived and worked there for a year and then drove from LA to Colorado and hooked up with a buddy who was driving a truck back to Alaska. While in California I would routinely take trips around to other states on my bike.
