Only crime she committed was not making him suffer.

The video of her committing the crime was ice cold in the best sense of the phrase.

That's not a video of her shooting the guy. That video that goes around in circles on here is a recreation. There's no video of her doing it. It does go hard, though.
"I would shoot any of my childrens' killers equally!" *Earlier that day...* "I wouldn't care to shoot Gob's killer."🍸
“无论谁杀了我哪个孩子,我都会一视同仁地干掉他们!”

This made me cackle. Her voice is missed.

I mean it's one .22 caliber bullet, Michael. How much could it cost, $10?

I’m not saying I’d do the same but I understand her.

What is it we hold so precious? I consider myself a genuinely kind hearted and good person, to a fault. I can’t even kill a bug. If someone touched my baby though, I’ll turn into a demon that escorts them to hell with a long enough trip as I can. Why do we have that in us? What is that we want to protect and any infringements on it are considered the most vile and horrific sin? Innocence, duty and love is my conclusion. That they are one and the same. It’s interesting… too much innocence, and we fail as a parent in equipping our most cherished ones with the ability to protect themselves. Innocence, the life force of humanity, can buckle under its own weight. I think it’s important to parse out, because we need the language to encourage our children to protect their own innocence in explicit terms. Similarly, we need to protect our own innocence into adulthood as best we can. We need to keep believing in love
There’s a scene in Archer where they track down the guy who kidnapped Lana’s daughter and she empties two clips into him. My husband turned to me and said something like oh that would be you, and I said “no. I would use a knife and go slow.” He was a little horrified.
I'm very anti-violence and anti-gun, but I can't say with 100% certainty that I wouldn't do the same if someone killed my daughter. Motherhood is one hell of a drug.
Ellie Nester did the same thing in California in 1993. She shot the guy who was charged with molesting her son. He was on trial for abusing 5 boys, including Nester’s son. It was looking like he would be convicted and get a long sentence. She walked up to him in the courtroom and shot him. Initially, there was an outpouring of support for her and her defense team was going to base her defense on her wanting to protect her sone from having to testify. It turned out that Ellie was high on methamphetamines when she did the shooting and she had some criminal history in her past. She ended up convicted of Voluntary Manslaughter and served only 3 1/2 years. She later went on to be convicted of Meth manufacturing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellie_Nesler
Both can be true at once in this case, I imagine? She could be high on meth with a criminal record *and* have shot him to protect her son. I don’t see why it’s mutually exclusive.
100%. Yes, she was trying to protect her son. Unfortunately, drugs and past poor decisions mean you're more likely to go about your goals in ways that are less useful and logical for you. Even people with difficult pasts love their kids. Especially people with difficult pasts will see this as an acceptable path rather than caring for their traumatized child.
I don’t think she cared how she would be treated or viewed by the public. Sounds like she wanted to kill the bastard who hurt her son. I totally get that.

Well her son was still alive and needed her, and the guy was about to go to prison, so the meth probably worsened her judgement there
The craziest thing in this story to me is the kid went to jail for stealing some tools. He gets out, and immediately head stomps the guy who called the police on him. The guy dies, he’s convicted of murder, 28 to life. He was going to be eligible for parole in 2031 and now he did this.
Same here. the guy who shot the pedophile, did the right thing as well. They usually get off so easy, it just makes you mad!!

The judge gave a light sentence to this mother, who was sure that the defendant would commit the same crime again in other families,
Reason for committing the murder inside the court.
In short.
Did not put faith in the justice of men

I honestly don't blame her. He testified that her daughter came onto him and "seduced" him, doing everything he could to slander a child he had violated and murdered in cold blood. He honestly deserved worse than something so merciful after what he had done.
She was with me that day, must have been a different shooter

So she shot the guy who killed her small child. Why are we making a whole federal case about it!?

From Wiki, her child’s killer was a convicted sex offender with two prior charges and he was actively trying to reverse his chemical castration at the time he raped and killed Anna Bachmeier. Based on that, Marianne seems to have thought he would reoffend if released and I don’t disagree. It looks like she also passed away young from cancer 😔
