I believe that adding colour to old pictures brings them to life. When we see black-and-white photos or films in colour, they suddenly feel closer to today. Because we are used to seeing everything in colour, these images no longer look distant; they seem fresh and almost recent.

The people trying to turn Reddit into nothing but a pro-Palestine site have been frustrated lately because they're not getting the engagement they used to. So now they go to various subs and try to bait people into fighting about Israel and Gaza sprinkled with various anti-Semitic insults. So they will go on a site about knitting or nail polish and post "Look at this hat that I knitted. It's the same colors as the Palestinian flag" or "look at my nails they're the same colors as the flag in Palestine. Too bad women in Gaza can't do their nails anymore" or a sub about healthy food and post "this is my healthy lunch today. Too bad children in Gaza don't have a healthy lunch" and then some of the responses will be about Jews being Nazis or they post on a sub for vintage dresses a woman from 100 years ago "Woman in Palestine wearing vintage lace dress" and when people politely remind them it wasn't called Palestine back then they're call racist etc. Notice this response below >Before Israel started committing genocide and ethnic cleansing Most subs are weary of it and have started removing posts that do this. Which isn't to say people don't have the right to post about Palestine or Gaza or support Hamas if they want to but there are tons of subs for politics on Reddit.
