Yeah i was astonished by the good quality of these old photos. especially the black and white images seem to persist a lot longer their fidelity on paper than colored ones

If you have photos, you should def post them on a WW2 or History sub (I know this sub is technically a “history” but I mean like, world history or something like that)! People (me) would find that so fascinating! But I totally understand why you wont.
